ITINERARY OF: 3 DAYS CAMEL TREKKING AND CAMPING IN MERZOUGA SAHARA DESERT

  • DAY 1 : MERZOUGA CAMEL TREK - SUNSET & SANDBOARDING - OVERNIGHT IN A DESERT CAMP

    Afternoon camel rides among sand dunes, a sunset over the Sahara Desert, and the chance to try your hand at sandboarding are all part of this two-night camping and camel-riding excursion. During your sahara camel rides excursion continues to the Sahara Desert camp where you will spend the first night; enjoy Moroccan mint tea while you relax. Then you'll have time to explore the surrounding dunes on foot and take in the breathtaking scenery. Later, you'll eat dinner under the stars, after which you'll learn about the Berber culture and listen to Berber music performed by local nomads around the campfire. If you enjoy dancing, you may then retire to a private Sahara Desert tent for the night.

  • DAY 2 : DESERT CAMP - THE BLACK DESERT & OASIS - VISIT NOMADS FAMILY - BACK TO THE CAMP

    During the second night of our two-night camel trip in Merzouga with Your Sahara tours agency. After observing the dawn, we shall have breakfast at the campsite. The "Black Desert," also known as "la Hamada" in the Berber language, is where we will begin our camel trip. A desolate landscape composed of black volcanic stones. After a special lunch (Berber Pizza) with a Nomad family, you will ride a camel to discover more about the desert, then return to the sand dunes, but this time with sand broads, and go to a different location to view the sunset. Spend the evening in a traditional desert camp.

  • DAY 3 : SAHARA DESERT CAMP - BACK TO MERZOUGA

    After daybreak on the final morning of the 2 Nights Desert Camel Trip with YOUR SAHARA TOURS agency, you will get up early to join in the camel trip through the erg Chebbi sand dunes to watch the dawn. We will return to Merzouga from the desert camp after breakfast, and depending on your preference, we will either take a camel ride or a 4x4 vehicle depending on how far we have to go.
