  • DAY 1: AIRPORT – CASABLANCA- MARRAKECH

    Depending on your arrival time, YOUR SAHARA TOURS driver will pick you up and start your journey by discovering Morocco’s economic capital city. In Casablanca you will visit Hassan II Mosque, Africa's second biggest mosque after Mecca will be our first stop. You will visit this stunning piece of artwork, and it is also one of the few mosques in the world that is open to both Muslims and non-Muslims, as you will have the opportunity to admire the coastal Cornish seaside before we transfer you to Marrakech and drop you at your accommodation.

  • DAY 2: MARRAKECH GUIDED TOUR:

    Marrakech will be the destination of the second day of Your Sahara Tours. According to several legends that have been passed down through the ages, the city was originally home to people who lived on the opposite side of the Atlas Mountains and had access to a plentiful supply of dates, palms, and bones. The name "The Red City" comes from the color of the walls that surround it, and it is a city filled with gardens that are irrigated by subterranean wells known as "Khettaras" in Moroccan. These wells were constructed in the eleventh century by Almoravid rulers and Saharan nomads.   • DAY 3: MARRAKECH – ESSAOUIRA – MARRAKECH

    Our trip will start early in the morning so that we have time to see all the great places that Essaouira, historically known as Mogador, offers. Our first stop on the way to Essaouira will be at Argan cooperative as an opportunity to learn about the process of generating argan oil since this oil is used in food and cosmetics. The second stop will be on the way to watch the goats climbing Argan trees. Once we arrive in the beach town of Essaouira, you will discover the city on your own. You will be able to explore the small lanes and numerous artisans of the medina. As the "Windy City," Essaouira attracts surfers from all over the world. Essaouira has been ruled by several civilizations, notably the Portuguese, who left their mark on the city's architecture. However, Essaouira remains a modest, quaint, and historically rich seaside community. Due to its grandeur, distinctive blue doors, and whitewashed walls, it is sometimes referred to as the "Jewel of the Atlantic."   • DAY 4: MARRAKECH – OUARZAZATE – DADES GORGES

    Today, our driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakech and start a trip to the desert. We will pass through Tizi N Tichka pass, the highest mountain pass in the North African region, located at 2260 meters (7400 feet) above sea level. There, we will make short stops to enjoy the scenery and photograph the camouflaged Berber villages between the mountains. Then continue our drive to visit the Kasbah of Ait-Ben Haddou, it was declared a world heritage site in 1987. This historic ksar (fortified village) is located in Morocco along the former caravan route that connected Marrakesh and the Sahara Desert. Thanks to its structure and location, a lot of famous movies and films had been filmed here, including Gladiator, Asterix and Obelix, The Mummy, The Jewel of the Nile, Lawrence of Arabia, and Game of Thrones. After having lunch at the nearby restaurants, we head to Ouarzazate, known as the “Door of the Desert”. we will visit the kasbah of Taourirt, the largest kasbah in Morocco, and the cinema stadium, where the cinematographic art museum exists. Then, we will go via Skoura's palm grove to reach the Valley of the Roses. In Skoura's oasis, we will be able to enjoy around 700 palm trees and a large number of the kasbah and arrive at the Region of the Roses, a picturesque valley where the lovely Damask rose is cultivated. We'll next make our way to Dades Valley, where we'll spend the night.

  • DAY 5: DADES VALLEY – TODGHA GORGES – MERZOUGA DESERT

    After having breakfast at your riad, you will have an opportunity to enjoy the panoramic views of the Dadès Valley. And this will be from a vantage point, you will see countless kasbahs and recognize how lovely each one is. In addition, we will see the geological formations known as "Monkey Fingers." Then drive to Todgha gorges, high mountains which are surrounded by a palm tree- and adobe-covered valley, it the place of people who likes climbing. Following our exploration of the Todgha Gorge, we will continue our journey into the desert. On the way, you will have a stop in Ljerf, known for its “Khattarat”, the underground irrigation system, with Your Sahara Tours guide you will learn about this groundwater mobilization system. In the late afternoon, we reach the Merzouga Desert and drop you off at a hotel.

  • DAY 6: EXPLORE THE DESERT WITH A 4X4 VEHICLE– NOMAD FAMILY – CAMEL TREKKING

    On the 6th day, after breakfast in your hotel, YOUR SAHARA TOURS will take you on a desert exploration excursion. You'll be driven to the middle of the desert in a four-wheel-drive vehicle. Strike a direct line toward the Saharan nomads, who are still using traditional tents. They will welcome you with a cup of tea (Berber whiskey) and tell you about their everyday lives. We'll next continue our journey to the desert's depths, where we'll discover abandoned French mines. Later, we will visit Khamlia village, the settlement of black Berber people from Sudan and Mali, who reside there today. Gnaoua music is performed here using real instruments. You may eat a typical Berber Pizza here for lunch after spending time with Gnaoua. Afterward, we take you back to the hotel to relax and prepare for your camel trekking adventure.   • DAY 7: MERZOUGA DESERT – RISSANI MARKET -AFROUD – IFRAN – FES.

    On the 7th day of your Sahara tour, you will have to wake up early in the morning, so you can admire the spectacular sunrise of the Sahara Desert. After having breakfast, you will ride your camel back to Merzouga. Our driver will pick you up and drive for Fes. Rissani will be our first stop, to visit the local souk where local people buy and sell vegetables, species, traditional clothing, and livestock. Then stop at Erfoud city, known for fossils marble before having a break at Ziz Valley to enjoy the view of the beautiful Valley and the Tafilalet palm grove, which is famous for the dates it grows. Our journey continues, after having lunch in Midelt, we will drive to Azrou, where will have an opportunity to feed and enjoy monkeys in the middle Atlas Mountains and stop at Ifran “the Switzerland of Morocco “to take some pictures of some monuments including Atlas lion. In the late afternoon, our driver will drop you off at your accommodation in Fes.

  • DAY 8: EXPLORE FES WITH LOCAL – MEKNES

    Your Sahara Tours travel agency guide will take you on an explorative journey of Morocco’s spiritual capital. After breakfast, you will meet your local guide and begin sightseeing outside the historic medina. Take in the breathtaking vista as you look out over the Medina from atop one of the Merenid tombs. The next step is to continue exploring the neighboring areas while also visiting the most significant locations within the city; Taking in the beautiful fountains of the city, including the mosaic Nejjarine Fountain, Visit the ancient Koranic schools known as Medersas, which date back to the 13th century. visiting the Royal Palace Gate, the Jewish Quarter "Mellah," which dates to the 14th century, the blue ceramics of the Bab Boujloud gateway, and the historic mosques, such as the Quaraouiyine Mosque, which was established by Fatima el Fihri in 859, and the Andalusian Mosque, which dates to 860. In the city that bears the name of this Great Sultan of the Alaouite Dynasty, we will go to the walled medina, the amazing Bab Masour gate, the el-Hedim Square, and the Sultan Moulay Ismail's stables and barns. All these locations are in the city that bears his name. Following our tour, we will head to Volubilis, an old Roman city situated at the foot of Zerhoun Mountain and also near Morocco's sacred mountain, Moulay Idriss. The medina of Morocco is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You would want to explore its booths and white structures. The architecture of Sevilla, Andalusian, and Cordoba cities is influenced by the Moors, as seen by the distinctive tile work on the floors, columns, and dados.   • DAY 11: TANGIER – ASILAHA – RABAT- CASABLANCA

    Drive from Tangier to Asilah where you’ll spend a couple of hours meandering around the intricate alleyways of this artistic city. The town of Asilah is well-known for its yearly Festival, during which painters and artists from all over the world congregate in order to leave their creative marks on the walls of the Medina. Before making your way to Rabat, you will take some time to wander around the colorfully painted streets. Once we arrive at Rabat, the capital of Morocco, we will take a trip to the old military fortification known as the Kasbah of the Oudayas, which was declared by UNESCO a World Heritage Site in the year 2012. This fortress is home to both the well-known colossal entryway Bab el-Kebir and one of the very first palaces ever constructed by the Alaouite dynasty, which is still ruling in Morocco today. Following that, we shall go to the Hassan Tower. On the plaza, we will be able to explore the remains of an unfinished mosque, which include a minaret and hundreds of columns. On the terrace of the mosque that was never completed, Mohammed V's mausoleum was constructed. Mohammed V was the first ruler of an independent Morocco.
